I am an Asian-American Contemporary Artist based in Orange County, California.

I find my inspirations in nature.  I believe appreciation of nature is universal and art is a common language.  I was born in Seoul, South Korea where I spent most of my childhood, then moved to Southern California.

My dual cultural views are source of my inspiration and are reflected in expressing my art.                                                   

In my most recent collective work, I combine traditional Korean brush painting elements with contemporary interpretations.  Through a layering of ink-wash and brush calligraphic delineation, I strive to reveal the harmonious beauty and meditative sense of peace and simplicity of Asian landscape paintings.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  SUZIE SOYON KOH
